Quit often an irritation can be a result of yeast infection ..Yes both male and female are susceptible to it. Clotrimzole cream is best for this. It can be bought over the counter at your local drug store. You may have the infection and not even know it and he can also have the side effects of it.

My 2 1/2 year old son is uncircumcised and has been complaining for a couple of days that his penis hurts and that it hurts when he pees. He has no fever or other signs of infection (UTI or yeast). He says there is less pain now, but it still seems as red… Could this just be soap that is irritating the skin? Could this be a normal part of the foreskin separation? Do you have any ideas?
