What can I take for this irritating dry cough besides mucinex im taking that and its not helping?

honey is a natural cough suppressant. the darker, the better. But you should also see the doctor to find out what’s causing the cough rather than just treating the symptoms. a dry cough could be all sorts of things. bronchitis immediately comes to mind. you should have it checked out.

    how long have you had this dry cough? If its been a while, i would recommend you to see you doctor, maybe get some antibiotics? If not, then nyquil (over the counter) will help you sleep, and hopefully relieve your symptoms. Also, try some vicks chest rub. It will help you breathe better.
